Currently dealing with 1500 members and 40 corporate clients, TENUK considers the new agreement with Microsoft to strengthen the use of their online and offline lifestyle management services as a corporate employee benefit. The service is particularly aimed at companies who are looking for new ways to retain and motivate the best people.
Microsoft have signed up for both TENUK services: the fully personalised TENVIP, where members are assigned a personal account manager who takes care of their needs and TEN24, which gives members access to the lifestyle management team, who will reply within 24 hours.
Employers such as Microsoft are recognising that well-designed work/life programs including, family care, flexible work arrangements and lifestyle management/concierge services - are highly valued by employees and relatively low in cost.
The Return on Investment for one client (65 staff - 5 directors on the premium service and 60 staff on ten24) was calculated at 620%. This was worked on the average hourly cost per employee of £100 and the service saving an average of 13.5 hours per annum. Based on 65 staff at a saving of £1350 per annum the minimum service saving to the client is £87,750. The initial outlay for service provision was £21,750. For every £1 invested they make back £6 in saved costs.
