“Peter brings a wealth of operational knowledge and important relationships to Ariadne Capital, and his focus on providing the best service to Investors, as the success of WILink proves, will be invaluable to us as we build out Ariadne Capital’s platform in the next decade.” said CEO Julie Meyer. “I’m particularly pleased that he is joining us at Ariadne Capital as an Investor Member.”

“Investing in Ariadne Capital was an easy decision – it makes business sense,” said Peter Wakeham, WILink’s chief executive officer. “How best to use the resources that Ariadne Capital provides is the hard part as one is spoilt for choice.”

general management positions in the U.K., Sweden, Japan and the United States.
During this period, he also undertook consultancy assignments in
Scandinavia, Australia and the U.K. as an engagement manager with McKinsey & Co., Inc.

In 1988, Wakeham was a founder member of the buy-out team which
acquired Bricom, a business services conglomerate, from British and
Commonwealth Holdings plc. He then became Divisional Director, Business
Services Europe for BET plc until its acquisition by Rentokil-Initial plc in
1996.

In 1996, he left Rentokil-Initial plc to take up the full-time role of
Chief Executive Officer of WILink.
