POSITION TITLE: OFFICE MANAGER
DESCRIPTION:
Ariadne Capital is seeking a high calibre, mature individual to
competently and pro-actively manage all front of house and back-office
operations. This is a demanding and varied role utilising a
cross-section of core skills from personnel, procurement, finance and
office management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Manage all front of house operations; reception,
calls, meet & greet, refreshments, booking meeting rooms, ensuring
the excellent appearance of the office premises

Handle all procurement in an efficient and
cost-effective manner; ordering of supplies, equipment, stationery
items , and branded business stationery
-
Provide the in-house Finance function; inputting all
accounts in Sage and collating receipts, invoices etc to send to
accountants. Collating employee information for Payroll accountants
-
Assist the CEO to manage the Key Professional
Services Firms, Advisors, Authorities & Key Suppliers; Lawyers,
Accountants, Compliance Consultants, Insurance Brokers and Pension
providers, IT Services Firms, Landlord, Inland Revenue, HM Customs &
Excise, FSA etc

Assist with the Human Resources and Recruitment
process; collating and managing the incoming Talent cv’s, arranging
interviews, meeting potential candidates, collecting references,
managing the Induction Process

Maintain the Personnel, Options, Holiday and Absence
records for the company, pro-actively manage the calendar of key
dates for probationary periods, appraisal reviews and birthdays

Organise Events including cocktail receptions,
charity evenings, corporate and industry related events

Administer all company Insurances, Share Option
Scheme, Stakeholder Pension Scheme

Working on ad-hoc projects according to the changing
business needs

EXPERIENCE/TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Essential
-
Minimum eight years of work experience
-
Experience managing people is a must
-
Experience in high-pressure, results-oriented
start-up cultures is necessary

SAGE line 50 (2+yrs experience)
-
Advanced MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
-
Advanced MS Outlook – email, calendar, contacts,
tasks
-
Proficient Typing – 50 wpm
-
Graduate Calibre
Highly desirable
-
Background as an Executive Assistant, Personal
Assistant, Office / Operations Manager
-
Interest and exposure in Banking, Consultancy,
Venture Capital, Technology and New Media arenas
-
Experience of the Personnel and Finance aspect of
role would be a big advantage
-
