Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategy
and product roadmap of future ProStores product
features
- Own key business metrics and drive metrics through
new products/features, pricing and customer services
- Partner with Product Management team and Product
Development team to deliver against Product Roadmap
- Manage relationship with internal service providers
to deliver the desired ProStores customer experience
- Deliver ProStores product to make seller successful
through existing direct and reseller channels
- Assist ProStores team in developing overall strategy
and marketing plans for the business
Job Requirements
- BA/BS (preferably in business, economics, engineering
or a related technical field); MBA preferred
- 10+ years experience of product management/marketing;
3-5 years at a consumer/retail/internet company.
Experience in ecommerce seller solutions and/or
SMBs a plus
- Demonstrated advanced quantitative and analytical
skills
- Solid understanding of software products and
technology
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to effectively lead teams
- Highly organized and extremely detail-oriented
- Fun, highly energetic personality; great team
player that works well in collaborative situations
- Strong preference given to candidates who are
also online buyers or sellers and active eBay users
Education
- Masters Degree or Equivalent

An exciting
role that will define the future of an award-winning
product that was launched at eBay Live in June 2005,
that enables small businesses to sell online with
their own web storefront. The ProStores business
unit drives the business strategy, product planning
and marketing of the ProStores subscription-based
business.
The Senior Manager of Product Marketing for ProStores
will be responsible for delivering a ProStores product
that enables small and medium-sized businesses to
be successful selling online. S/he will have direct
responsibility for the evolution of the ProStores
product, and will gain exposure to other parts of
the company as s/he works to develop and execute
the strategy for integrations with other eBay Inc.
seller solutions (eBay marketplace, Paypal, Shopping.com
etc.), and with 3rd party seller solutions with which
ProStores integrates (shipping, accounting, shopping
search engines, email marketing, web analytics, payment
gateways, merchant accounts etc.) S/he will be responsible
for developing and executing product/pricing, and
additional services plans to drive the adoption and
retention in these areas.
