Steve is an entrepreneur with 17 years experience of growing, leading and transforming mobile, Internet and digital media businesses.

He founded Business2profit in 2004 to provide practical, hands-on business development support to start-ups, corporates and investors in the digital media space. He has advised Ariadne Capital and its portfolio clients since 2005 and sits on the board of Leiki (digital content and advertising personalization) and ComiAsia (web/mobile 2.0 Red Herring Asia 2007 winner). Steve is active in the Asia venture community, an angel investor and mentor to new businesses.

Steve has worked with numerous start-ups in the Mobile, Internet, digital content and interactive marketing spaces, and led projects for corporate clients including Skype, AOL, Extreme Media, Virgin Media, Vodafone, iPass, BT, Carphone Warehouse and Venture Capital firms. Steve previously held senior roles in Cable & Wireless, Mercury Communications, AEG and Plessey (now BAE). His experience includes building an international mobile business into $200m turnover and market leadership; Managing a $500m turnover P&L; Securing $m's in VC funding; Building and leading multi-cultural teams globally; Securing $150m+ outsource and global contracts at board level; Building new broadband, MVNO/mobile and VoIP businesses.

He has a Communications Engineering honours degree from the University of Plymouth, and post-graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). Steve is a member of the Singapore Venture Capital Association (SVCA) and Business Angels Network South East Asia (BANSEA), as well as occasional business plan competition judge at INSEAD, National University of Singapore and Singapore Media Development Authority. He received a Singapore Spirit of Enterprise award for 2007, recognizing his contribution to entrepreneurship.
